Currant Affair
This sparkling rosé cider is a perfect balance of apples with homegrown and locally-sourced black currants from Andrews Scenic Acres in Milton. Tart and earthy, this cider is a compelling alternative to wine and pairs well with soft cheeses. A beautiful addition to any dinner gathering and sets the stage well for a night of storytelling.

N/AHeartwood Farm and Cidery
We are the humble and careful stewards of a 42-acre farm, where we raise cows, pigs, sheep, chickens and bees, and grow apples, maple trees, and other fruit and nut trees. We have chosen the practice of Regenerative Farming for our land in an effort to maintain the healthiest soil, water systems, agriculture and livestock possible. We make a variety of farm-crafted alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, all using fresh Ontario fruit and using natural processes.
We make delicious small-batch craft ciders, using ingredients from our farm and local community — apples from our forest garden, maple syrup tapped from our own trees, and other ingredients like currants and peaches (even hot peppers!) for our signature flavours or seasonal offerings. Our ciders are sophisticated and a bit adventurous, but still accessible, like a craft cider should be.
We like to say we’re in the business of transformation. We enliven and awaken people by showing them the connections between all the things that make up a good life: sunlight to plants, grass to meat, fruit to juice, sap to syrup, cider to conversation. We invite you to immerse yourself in this complex ecosystem with us, and bring this transformative philosophy to the forefront!
